Information Policy Committee

Mission:

The NFAIS Information Policy Committee will identify and monitor developments in state, national, and international government information policies; maintain an awareness of major copyright and other intellectual property rights issues, developments, and legislation worldwide; monitor from a policy perspective other significant information issues, such as privacy licensing, internet taxation, etc., that may have an impact on NFAIS members activities and interests. The Committee will report such issues and trends to the NFAIS Board and Membership as needed, and take action upon the direction of the NFAIS Board.
